For purpose of creating realism and authenticity in EXFIL's Fictional User Interface (FUI), I spent a great deal of research doing a comparative analysis of real-world websites, defense mechanisms, and professional designs. Depending on what's currently available, such as basic information and interactivity, I was able to come up with interface with not only an immersive sensation but also with functionality, integrating reality into cinematic representation.
To create the Fictional User Interface (FUI) for EXFIL, I conducted in-depth research by analyzing real-world websites, military systems, and professional UI designs. This involved studying layout structures, typography, and interactive elements commonly found in real-world applications. By referencing these sources, I was able to create an iteration that balances realism with cinematic aesthetics. The design process focused on intricate detailing, ensuring it could be animated smoothly and effectively integrated into a short film.
The development process involved digital wireframing and sketching to plan each component, including the placement of the criminal database, control interfaces, and other key elements. This approach ensured a both a functional and a visually appealing design.
